Niacin more effective than Zeitia in preventing narrowing of arteries!

A new study concluded that taking extended-release niacin outperforms Zeitia.

The study was ended after 14 months when results significantly favored niacin.  In Journal Watch Cardiology, Dr. Harlan Krumhoz states that “Zeitia should be a drug of last resort, if it is used at all”.

Some people get the “niacin flush” a hot flash when they take niacin.  We have available no-flush niacin if this is an issue.

Isn’t funny that niacin was the first item used years ago for high cholesterol, we shifted to the statins, and now have gone full circle back to niacin.

Mother Nature knows best.
